    • From May 28, 1999 to present, Investors have decided on FengKui as the location for a five star holiday village. A representative for the private landowners has secured the approval of the sale of 98% of the private land, totaling 9.1393 hectares, to Amazing Ltd. which gives the authority to the Penghu County government to write the contract.

    Tourism is a key to the development of Penghu. A 5 star holiday village and the like are very important to the realization of this development. Foreign investors have decided on an area near Snakehead Mountain in FengKui, Penghu for this 5 star holiday village. Besides the cultural atmosphere and beautiful scenery of FengKui, local customs and practices, Public safety, and local friendliness are all very attractive aspects. This can assure the foreign investors of future development potential and investment into the tourism market.

    This is the first case of foreign investment in Penghu and is the goal of future development. After much effort, currently the foreign investors have applied For Investment in Taiwan and establishment of a company of which a portion has already passed the requirements. The company's address has already been established. After deliberation, both purchase and¡P sale conditions have been met for the private land and today we are holding our contract signing ceremony. Further, the purchase of the government land, 4.5805 hectares, will be aided by the local government. As far the changing of the status of the land for development, the investors will employ a consulting firm to handle the case. Every step will follow specified plans to efficiently proceed.

    The arrival of Amazing Ltd. into Penghu is evidence that if citizens come to agreement and cooperate for the development of the land with the guidance of the government, we can realize the proper use of the resource potential of Penghu and stand on the stage of the world.
